Who runs Electrify Colorado, and how it’s paid for

A Colorado HVAC contractor, UniColorado, runs this site. It is free to use. If you ask for a quote from your plan, that request goes to UniColorado today. You’re free to take your plan to any installer.

Run by an installer, and we say so

We install heat pumps in Colorado, so we see where homeowners lose money: a rebate that needed approval before work started, a federal credit that ended, a panel upgrade nobody needed. This site is the plan we wish every customer had before they called anyone.

That also means we have an interest. We would like you to hire us. So the plan shows every program you qualify for, whoever installs it, and the guides tell you how to check any installer, including us.

  • No fees from you. The plan, the tools and the guides are free, with no account.
  • Quotes go to UniColorado for now. When you ask for a quote or a home visit from your plan, UniColorado gets the request. That is how the site pays for itself.
  • UniColorado’s registrations. It is a Power Ahead Colorado contractor, an Xcel Energy trade partner and a registered HEAR contractor (checked Oct 8, 2026).
  • We never sell your address or your answers to anyone.
  • Other installers later. We plan to list other vetted Colorado installers. How listing will work.

How we check programs

Rebate amounts on this site come from our own program files, one per program, each with a link to the official source and the date we last checked it. We track 22 programs today. The oldest status check is from .

How sure we areWhat it meansPrograms
Confirmedread on the official program source17
Partly confirmedsome details only from secondary sources, and we say which4
Unconfirmedwe could not verify it, so we show it as unconfirmed1

Status is shown the same way everywhere, always as a word with its own symbol:

  • Live taking applications
  • Closing soon open now, deadline near
  • Paused no funds right now
  • Unconfirmed we could not confirm it yet
  • Ended closed for good

Our 10 guides cite 73 sources between them, each with the date we read it.

What we won't do

  • Publish reviews, star ratings or customer counts we can’t show you.
  • Show a dollar figure without saying where it came from. Sample numbers are labelled Example.
  • Keep an ended program on the page as if it were live. The federal 25C and 25D credits are marked Ended.
  • Claim a registration or certification we have not confirmed.
