For installers
Join the vetted installer network.
Colorado homeowners use Electrify Colorado to plan heat pumps, panels and other electric upgrades with every rebate in one place. We are opening it to licensed, insured installers who do this work well.
There is no charge to apply.
Where things stand
Today every homeowner request on this site goes to UniColorado, the Colorado installer that runs Electrify Colorado. Approved installers are listed in the public directory now. Routing requests to installers by ZIP code comes later, after the network has enough vetted members; we will contact every listed installer before it starts.
What we check
Homeowners see a short list of installers, so every listing has to hold up. We check these by hand before anyone is listed, and again if something changes.
Required
Colorado license or registration
A state electrical contractor license (DORA) for electrical work, and the city or county contractor licenses for the places you work. We check them against the issuing office.
Required
Insurance
A current certificate of general liability insurance, and workers’ compensation if you have employees. We ask for the certificate before listing you.
Optional badge
Program registrations
Power Ahead Colorado, Xcel Energy trade partner and HEAR. Optional. Each one becomes a badge only after we confirm it with the program, and the badge shows the date we checked. UniColorado, which runs this site, holds all three.
Why join
- A listing that says what we verified. Your license, insurance and program registrations show as badges with the date we checked them.
- Homeowners who have done their homework. People arrive with a plan: the equipment, the rebates their address qualifies for, and whether their panel can take it.
- No paid placement, no star ratings. The directory is sorted by name. We do not publish reviews we cannot verify.
- You keep your profile current. Once sign-in opens, you edit your description and service ZIP codes yourself.
How it works
Step 1: Apply
About five minutes: your company, license, insurer, the work you do and the ZIP codes you serve.
Step 2: We check
We verify your license, insurance and any registrations you list, and call or email if we need more.
Step 3: You are listed
Approved installers appear in the public directory with their verified badges and service area.
Step 4: Lead routing, later
Sending homeowner requests to installers by ZIP is not switched on yet. We will tell you before it starts.
Ready when you are
Have your license number and your insurer’s name to hand.
